Join us in celebrating Patterson Cheney Cars and Trucks' expansion with the addition of our newest truck dealership, Patterson Cheney Isuzu Pakenham. This is an exciting time for us, and we're looking for an experienced Workshop Controller/Foreman to join our expanding team.
  
  
About the role:

• Coordinating daily workshop activities and assigning repair orders to service technicians using our Dealer Management System
• Managing the workshop team to maximise productivity, efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain an on-time delivery rate and quality control within the Heavy Vehicle Workshop.
• Identifying technician strengths and weaknesses to allocate work effectively whilst creating opportunities to develop the team's skills 
• Work with Service Advisors to communicate vehicle progress and additional work needed to customers.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

  
About you:

• Previous dealership experience as a Foreman or Worksop Controller
• Qualified automotive technician (Toyota experience preferred but not essential)
• Maintain workshop productivity and efficiency levels
• Strong organisation and leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor, including apprentices
• Be reliable, self-motivated, with a great work ethic
• Demonstrated a high degree of teamwork with the ability to work within a dynamic workshop environment
• Hold a current Australian driver's licence
