To continue this success, we seek a Parts Administrator to support our parts manager and busy team and assist with inventory and administrative tasks.
About the role: As a Parts Administrator, you will be crucial in managing the parts inventory and supporting our parts department and customers. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will ensure our parts operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage and process orders for automotive parts and accessories, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Prepare and maintain accurate invoices for parts transactions, ensuring all records are current.
- Monitor and manage parts inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability.
- Process receipts for incoming parts, verifying accuracy and completeness of deliveries.
- Handle accounts payable for parts orders, ensuring timely payment to suppliers.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and manage credit accounts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
- Oversee the clearing of parts and maintain accurate records for credit accounts.
- Assist technicians and service advisors in identifying and sourcing parts.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving parts-related issues.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and order parts as needed.
- Support the service department with administrative tasks as required.
About you: - Previous experience in dealership parts administration or a related dealership administration role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management software (ideally Tune)
- A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to learn and grow within the dealership.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive work ethic.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Current driver's license.
