Patterson Cheney seeks a General Sales Manager to lead our new vehicle sales team and drive success across our brands, including Patterson Cheney Isuzu UTE, Dandenong JAC and Mahindra. About the Role: 
As the General Sales Manager, you will: 

• Lead a small, close-knit team focused on new vehicle sales across Isuzu UTE, JAC Motors, and Mahindra.
• Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed targets.
• Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of sales professionals, ensuring their success through guidance and support.
• Build and nurture strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction.
• Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations, including inventory management and after-sales support.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and implement necessary improvements to optimise team performance.
• Present sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to the management team.

  
About You: 

• Proven experience as a sales leader or a Sales Manager seeking a new challenge.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Results-oriented mindset with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with the local market and customer preferences is a plus.
