We are recruiting a Yard Hand to the dealership to coordinate the yard, driving and maintenance duties.
 
About the role:

• Organise and maintain the yard as requested by the Sales Manager.
• Drive and organise vehicles in the yard (main function)
• Drive to the weighbridge to weigh trucks as needed.
• Deliver new chassis to bodybuilders when required.
• Provide delivery of new trucks to customers as necessary.
• Assist the pre-delivery department with various tasks.
• Assemble and install temporary guards.
• Collect temporary guards from bodybuilders.
• Fuel trucks when required.
• Wash trucks when needed to ensure they are showroom-ready.
• Pick up parts as required to support operations.

 
About you:

• Must have a current HR licence.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Have the patients move and park trucks throughout the day
• Strong communications skills
• Physically fit, as there will be a lot of walking around the yard.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 
On offer:

• Hourly rate approx. $28 per hour
• Full-time job, 700am start with daily overtime, Monday to Friday
• Training provided to support career progression.
