Due to an internal promotion, we seek a dedicated, experienced individual to fill the Truck Dealership Assistant Service Manager position.
About the Role:
As the Truck Dealership Assistant Service Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Service Manager and ensuring the smooth operations of our service department. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing day-to-day service operations
- Upholding Patterson Cheney's exceptional service standards
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and maximising sales
- Collaborating with the parts department
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism
- Maintaining accurate service records
- Implementing and maintaining department policies and procedures
- Staying informed on industry trends in truck maintenance and repair
About you: - Previous leadership experience in dealership truck service
- Desire to advance in your service management career
- Understanding of service department's KPIs
- Proficiency in truck maintenance and repair processes
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage customer interactions effectively
- Organisational and time management skills
- Team player with the ability to work well under pressure
- Proficient in dealer software management and good PC skills
- Current VIC Heavy Vehicle driver's license
