Westar Trucks, a leader in the light-to-medium-duty truck market, is seeking a Sales Manager to join our award-winning team at our state-of-the-art facility in Derrimut.
As a Sales Manager at Westar Trucks, you will oversee a high-performing team responsible for sales, stock management, and customer service. Your leadership will drive our success as we introduce exciting new models and continue to build our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the truck sales department, developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, including fleet operators, businesses, and government agencies.
- Identify new sales opportunities, expand our customer base, and drive proactive networking and lead generation.
- Guide and support your sales team, ensuring they have the resources and training needed to excel.
- Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, and adjust strategies to optimise results.
- Collaborate with stock coordination and customer care teams to enhance our customer experience and deliver five-star service.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute impactful promotional campaigns.
What We’re Looking For - Proven experience in truck sales within a dealership environment.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, focusing on motivating and inspiring a sales team.
- A successful track record in a high-volume sales environment.
- Technical understanding of truck sales coordination, including body builds and compliance.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster client relationships.
- A results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to pursuing sales opportunities.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for effective lead and pipeline management.
