As a Dealership Trainee Parts Interpreter at Chadstone, you will learn the dealership parts trade from the ground up. Starting in the warehouse, you will gain hands-on experience in warehouse and logistics operations, preparing you for the next steps in parts interpreting. You will support our internal service department before advancing to parts sales, where you will interact with our VIP customers.
As a dealership parts trainee, you can expect to learn:
- How to identify automotive parts and their applications.
- Hands-on warehousing experience in inventory management, picking, and packing.
- Developing skills to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Effective tracking of stock levels and ordering parts.
- Familiarity with dealership software for processing orders and inquiries.
- Learning effective communication and sales strategies.
- Working with team members to understand department workflow.
- Gaining insights into automotive products and industry trends.
- Building a foundation for advancement in the automotive industry.
For the Dealership Trainee Parts Sales role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities: - Basic understanding of automotive parts and systems.
- Ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Careful in handling parts and maintaining accurate records.
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new software systems.
- Genuine interest in the automotive industry and a desire to grow.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles is a plus but not essential.
- Willingness to collaborate and learn from experienced colleagues.
- Previous experience in customer service or automotive parts is a plus, but not essential.
