We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale electrical and data centre projects in Cork. The successful candidate will oversee projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of large-scale electrical and data centre projects from start to finish.
- Lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams and specialist subcontractors.
- Develop project execution strategies, programmes and delivery plans, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
- Manage project budgets, costs, variations, change control and commercial performance.
- Coordinate design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
- Identify project risks, constraints and delays, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Oversee interfaces between electrical, mechanical, CSA, BMS, EPMS, fire alarm and other critical systems.
- Provide technical leadership, resolving issues and supporting effective project delivery.
- Lead client meetings, maintain strong stakeholder relationships and report on project progress.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Ensure all project documentation, testing records and handover requirements are completed to the required standard.
Requirements - 10+ years' experience in construction, engineering or project management.
- Strong electrical engineering or electrical construction background.
- Proven experience managing complex projects and large project teams.
- Experience delivering projects through construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction methodologies.
- Excellent programme planning, commercial awareness and budget management skills.
- Strong risk management, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication and client management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
