Are you an experienced Mechanical QA/QC professional ready to take ownership of quality across multiple projects?
We’re looking for a Campus QA/QC Lead to join our team in Charleroi, Belgium, taking overall responsibility for QA/QC delivery and project-level commissioning activities across multiple concurrent projects.
This is a senior, high-impact role working closely with project teams and General Contractors to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved, documentation is complete and projects are delivered with minimal snags.
Your role
Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll lead the quality function across the campus, working closely with Project Managers, construction teams and General Contractors.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that quality requirements are clearly understood, implemented and demonstrated throughout project delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading QA/QC activities across multiple concurrent industrial projects
- Managing project-level QA/QC and Level 1 & 2 commissioning activities
- Working directly with General Contractors and project stakeholders
- Communicating specification requirements clearly to project teams and demonstrating compliance
- Coordinating QA/QC walkdowns and commissioning tagging walks
- Overseeing quality inspections of completed systems
- Ensuring inspection and quality documentation is complete and compliant
- Coordinating preparation and review of test packs
- Witnessing pressure testing and other quality-critical activities
- Overseeing QA/QC activities relating to equipment, HVAC, piping, plumbing and drainage systems
- Managing walkdown schedules and coordinating close-out activities
- Tracking and reporting weekly QA/QC performance
- Identifying and resolving quality issues and supporting effective troubleshooting
- Working closely with Project Managers and construction teams to minimise snags and ensure high-quality project delivery
- Driving a collaborative approach to quality across all project teams

What we’re looking for We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical QA/QC professional who can combine strong technical knowledge with confident leadership and stakeholder management skills.
You’ll ideally have:
- Academic and/or trade qualifications in a Mechanical discipline
- 10+ years’ Mechanical QA/QC experience within industrial-type projects
- At least 5 years’ experience in a QA/QC leadership role
- Experience working directly with General Contractors
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- The ability to explain technical specifications and demonstrate compliance to project teams
- Experience within industrial and/or process projects
- Strong knowledge of piping and HVAC systems
- Experience with QA/QC walkdowns, commissioning activities and project close-out
- Experience coordinating test packs and witnessing pressure testing
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues
