Fourblue are working with an established multi-utility infrastructure provider specialising in the residential development market, delivering electrical and wider utility infrastructure that supports new homes and communities across the UK.

They’re looking for an HV Project Engineer to join their Major Projects team, taking a key technical role in the delivery of HV and LV electrical infrastructure projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership of the engineering elements of HV and LV projects and supporting their successful delivery
• Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications and project information to ensure works are technically correct, safe and compliant
• Providing practical engineering support to Design and Operations teams when technical challenges arise
• Working closely with customers, contractors, DNOs, IDNOs and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery
• Helping identify and resolve technical and delivery issues before they impact the programme
• Supporting projects through construction, energisation and final handover
• Maintaining high standards across safety, quality and technical compliance
• Contributing to continuous improvement across the wider engineering and operations teams

What are we looking for?
You’ll ideally already have experience within HV/LV, power distribution, utilities, ICP, IDNO or electrical infrastructure and understand what it takes to deliver electrical projects safely and successfully.

• A good understanding of electrical drawings and technical specifications
• Knowledge of project delivery processes and electrical safety requirements
• A relevant electrical qualification such as an HNC/HND, degree, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent practical experience in Electrical Engineering
• The confidence to communicate with engineers, customers, contractors and other stakeholders
