Senior Quantity Surveyor 
Dungeness - Hybrid
£70,000 + car/car allowance

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team based, taking a key commercial role across the delivery of complex projects.

This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor who enjoys being close to project delivery, working collaboratively with operational teams and taking ownership of financial performance from cost control and forecasting through to subcontractor management and change.

What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you’ll helpdrive strong commercial performance across projects, ensuring costs, cash flow, risk and profitability are effectively managed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing project costs, forecasts and commercial reporting, including CVRs and cost-to-complete reviews
• Supporting applications for payment, credit control and income forecasting
• Identifying, pricing and managing project changes
• Managing commercial risk and ensuring robust cost control
• Supporting the full subcontract lifecycle, including procurement, documentation, payments and performance
• Working closely with project and operational teams to review budgets and project performance
• Reviewing site records, allocation sheets and site diaries to ensure accurate commercial information
• Attending project progress and commercial meetings
• Preparing accurate monthly financial performance reports and forecasts
• Ensuring commercial processes comply with contractual requirements, internal procedures and relevant legislation
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste and strengthen project performance

What we’re looking for You’ll have solid commercial experience within a contracting or construction environment, ideally gained within the power, energy or infrastructure sectors, and be confident working with NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.

You’ll also bring:

• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent relevant qualification
• Strong understanding of cost management, forecasting and change control
• Experience working with subcontractors and project delivery teams
• Good commercial judgement and attention to detail
