Waste Water Adoption Manager
Remote – UK sites
£65,000 + £6,900 car allowance

We’re looking for an experienced Waste Water Adoption Manager to join a leading NAV operator and play a key role in the adoption of our waste water assets.

This is a varied role combining technical expertise, site activity and relationship management. You’ll work closely with developers, contractors and internal teams, helping projects move smoothly from initial drainage proposals through inspection, handover and final adoption.

The role
You’ll take ownership of the waste water adoption process, ensuring assets meet statutory, regulatory and AWIN requirements before they are adopted.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and technically approving Section 104 (S104) submissions
• Advising developers on drainage proposals, technical requirements and the AWIN adoption process
• Carrying out site, pre-maintenance and final adoption inspections
• Identifying defects and managing snagging and rectification through to completion
• Coordinating CCTV surveys and attending air and water testing of new sewer installations
• Ensuring as-built plans, agreements and relevant records are in place for successful asset handover and GIS updates
• Working closely with developers, consultants, groundworkers, site agents and contractors to resolve technical challenges
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, invoicing and contractor purchase orders
• Ensuring adoption activities remain compliant with the Water Industry Act, Design and Construction Guidance (DCG), Health & Safety requirements and other relevant legislation
• Helping develop and improve AWIN’s adoption processes, policies and technical solutions

What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have water industry experience, particularly within waste water, along with a strong understanding of the regulatory requirements surrounding the adoption of waste and surface water assets.

You’ll be comfortable managing contractors and working on active development sites, with good knowledge of Health & Safety and regulatory compliance. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are important, as you’ll regularly work directly with developers and other key stakeholders.
