Fourblue have partnered with an established client who is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team.
This is a great opportunity to take ownership of the commercial performance across a varied portfolio of civil engineering, highways, street lighting and technology infrastructure schemes, working closely with project teams and clients to maximise profitability and deliver successful projects.
About you
You’ll manage the full commercial lifecycle, including cost control, forecasting, change management, subcontract procurement, risk management and final accounts, while ensuring strong compliance with NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
You’ll also act as a key commercial point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and providing commercial insight to support successful project delivery. There’s also an opportunity to mentor and support junior members of the commercial team as they develop their careers.
About you We’re looking for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor with experience managing multiple schemes within civil engineering, highways, utilities or infrastructure.
You’ll be organised, proactive and confident working with clients and project teams, with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of NEC contracts.
A relevant degree is preferred, along with RICS/ICES membership or a willingness to work towards chartership. A valid UK driving licence is essential.
