MU Project Manager
Remote with site visits to South West & South Wales
£70,000 + mileage
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing business specialising in multi-utility infrastructure and new connections across the UK.
They are looking for an experienced MU Project Manager to join their team and take responsibility for delivering electrical, water, and gas new connection projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
You will manage projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, you will oversee project delivery while providing technical support and maintaining strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage MU new connection projects across electrical, water, and gas
- Deliver projects to agreed cost, programme, and quality standards
- Manage subcontractors, resources, risks, and project documentation
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Carry out site audits and support pre-construction activities
- Build strong relationships with clients and delivery partners
You will need to have a strong background in MU new connections, with experience managing projects within electrical ICP and/or water SLP environments.
Requirements: - 5+ years’ experience in MU new connections
- NRSWA Supervisor qualification
- Distribution Network Authorisation (minimum WPD and SSE)
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South West and South Wales
- Strong project management and communication skills
