We are supporting a specialist High Voltage (HV) installation and maintenance provider delivering safe, reliable, and efficient solutions that support critical electrical infrastructure across the UK.
They are now looking for an experienced Substation Inspector to join their team and play a key role in ensuring HV assets remain safe, compliant, and operating effectively.
Key Responsibilities
As a Substation Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting HV substations. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of industrial and commercial sites, using your technical expertise to help maintain safe and reliable power infrastructure.
- Carry out inspections of HV substations and associated electrical equipment
- Identify defects, risks, and compliance issues, providing clear recommendations
- Produce accurate inspection reports and maintain detailed records
- Complete site risk assessments and follow safe working practices
- Coordinate site visits and communicate professionally with clients
- Support continuous improvement of inspection processes and reporting standards
About You:
The successful candidate will have experience working within an HV or industrial electrical environment, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety requirements.
- Experience within HV or industrial electrical environments
- Ability to interpret technical information and produce accurate reports
- Full UK driving licence
