Civils Project Manager
North West
£65,000 + car allowance

We’re working with a leading contractor delivering large-scale EV charging hub and green energy installation projects across the UK. They are now looking for an experienced Civils Project Manager to take full ownership of delivery across these high-profile, fast-growing schemes.

This is a key role within a growing renewables and infrastructure division, where you’ll manage the full lifecycle of EV charging hub projects, coordinating civils works, utilities interfaces, and subcontractors while ensuring strong delivery across safety, programme, quality, and commercial performance.

Responsibilities of the Civils Project Manager:

• Managing civils delivery for EV charging hub and green energy projects
• Overseeing excavation, groundworks, drainage, concreting, and highways interfaces
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
• Driving programme delivery and managing forward planning of works
• Ensuring strict compliance with H&S, CDM, and environmental standards
• Carrying out site inspections, audits, and quality checks
• Managing materials, plant, and resource planning to reduce waste and delays
• Maintaining accurate site records, reporting, and project documentation
• Supporting handovers including O&M files, H&S files, and as-built records
• Liaising with clients and stakeholders to provide clear progress updates

Criteria for the Civils Project Manager:

• Strong civils background (groundworks, drainage, highways, infrastructure)
• Experience as a Project Manager or senior site leader (5+ years)
• Comfortable managing subcontractors and site teams
• Strong understanding of CDM regulations and site safety
• CSCS Gold Card
• SMSTS
• First Aid (3-day minimum)
• HNC / HND / Degree in Construction or related field
