Fourblue are working with a Multi-Utility contractor who play a key role in supporting residential and commercial development across the UK through essential Multi Utility connections. They are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of complex, fast-paced utility schemes from planning through to completion.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for driving performance across safety, programme, quality, and commercial delivery.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll oversee the full lifecycle of Multi Utility projects, ensuring smooth coordination between developers, internal teams, subcontractors, and site operatives.
- Leading end-to-end delivery of Multi Utility schemes
- Coordinating design handovers, pre-start planning, and site mobilisation
- Managing streetworks, permits, notices, commissioning, and plot connections
- Driving programme performance and resolving on-site delivery issues
- Overseeing RAMS, audits, inspections, and HSE compliance
- Ensuring quality standards are met and project records are maintained
- Managing commercial performance, reporting, and cost control
- Maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders throughout delivery
- Coordinating plant, materials, and resources to maximise efficiency
- Supporting project handovers and ensuring smooth project close-out
You’ll ideally bring: - 5+ years’ experience in Multi Utilities or a related infrastructure sector
- Background in project delivery, site management, or supervisory roles
- Strong understanding of streetworks, utility networks, and site coordination
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities
- Confidence managing subcontractors and operational teams
- Strong communication skills across clients and internal stakeholders
- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and programme performance
Qualifications & tickets required: - SMSTS
- NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor
- EUSR SHEA (Gas / Water / Electricity)
- EUSR SCO qualifications (where applicable)
- EUSR Safe Control of Mains Connections (Water)
- First Aid at Work
- Full UK driving licence
