Electrical Site Manager – Renewable Energy
Glasgow & Bristol (UK travel required)
OTE up to £85,000 + profit shares + benefits
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business specialising in high voltage electrical engineering, grid connections, and renewable energy generation. Due to continued success and expansion within the renewable sector, we’re looking for an Electrical Site Manager to join the operations team and take ownership of site delivery across a range of HV projects.
This role will see you managing site operations teams to successfully install and commission electrical projects in line with project strategy, while playing a key part in shaping the future of clean energy infrastructure across the UK.

Responsibilities of the Site Manager: - Lead and manage site operations teams delivering HV electrical installations and commissioning works
- Attend and contribute to regular meetings with the Operations Manager to ensure efficient site delivery
- Prepare for and complete internal and external audits alongside the SHEQ team
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are arranged, inspected, and maintained to the required standards
- Liaise with clients, project engineers, and managers to coordinate planned works
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency
- Uphold high professional standards and always represent the business positively
- Promote and demonstrate core principles including health, safety, professionalism, pride, partnership, and proactivity
Criteria for the Site Manager: - Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role overseeing complex electrical installations, or strong technical experience beyond previous roles
- SMSTS qualification completed and implemented
- 2–3 years’ experience within electrical engineering in contracting or utilities environments
- Experience working within the high voltage sector up to a minimum of 33kV
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
