Are you an ambitious Quantity Surveyor with 2–3 years’ experience looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Junior / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team in Tadworth, Surrey, working on exciting civil engineering and power infrastructure projects.
About the Role
You’ll gain hands-on experience across a range of high-profile projects, including data centres, EV charging installations, substations, cable routes, and battery energy storage sites. You’ll primarily work on bespoke JCT contracts, with exposure to NEC4 contracts as the business expands. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your commercial expertise in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with valuations and applications for payment
- Support contract administration and compliance
- Prepare cost reports and forecasts
- Help with subcontractor procurement and payment certification
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Contribute to risk management and variation assessments
- Liaise with site teams to ensure smooth commercial delivery
What We’re Looking For - 2–3 years’ experience in a similar Quantity Surveying role
- Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and teamworking abilities
- Ambition to progress your career within civil and energy infrastructure projects
