Electrical CX Engineer - Europe
Are you an ambitious Electrical CX Engineer looking to expand your experience across high-tech, fast-moving project environments?
An excellent opportunity is available for a motivated engineer to join a dedicated commissioning team working on major projects throughout Europe.
In this role, you will take responsibility for the delivery of electrical commissioning activities, ensuring all equipment and systems meet client specifications through rigorous testing, inspections and documentation management.
Working alongside the CX Lead and a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of cutting-edge projects across sectors such as data centres, life sciences and advanced construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage project commissioning databases, ensuring accuracy for handover, testing and client documentation.
- Complete system and equipment test packs using project quality management software.
- Liaise with QA teams on system handover, tagging dates and documentation requirements.
- Support the development and upkeep of pre-commissioning and commissioning execution plans, including personnel and equipment mobilisation.
- Prepare commissioning procedures in collaboration with specialist vendors and suppliers.
- Review vendor performance test procedures and operating manuals.
- Execute pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.
- Assist with coordination of vendor representatives and supervise performance tests where required.
- Work with AP and Testing teams ahead of functional switching and energisation.
- Prepare final reports, certificates and attend management and subcontractor meetings.
- Travel to sites across Ireland and mainland Europe as necessary.

Skills and Requirements: - Relevant electrical or quality-related qualification.
- Electrical trade background beneficial.
- Ideally 1+ year’s experience in a similar role.
- Fluent English.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and schematics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with quality software advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
