Senior Structural Engineer - Renewable Energy Projects
Remote (with occasional site visits across the UK)

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the future of renewable energy infrastructure?

We’re looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with a passion for innovation, sustainability and technical excellence to join a growing engineering team specialising in ground-mounted solar and related renewable products.

In this senior role, you’ll play a pivotal part in the design, analysis and delivery of large-scale solar installations, ensuring their structural integrity, safety and performance. You’ll guide a talented team of engineers, collaborate across disciplines and make a tangible contribution to the UK’s transition to clean energy.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing and analysing structural systems for solar arrays and related infrastructure.
• Conducting site assessments and surveys to inform design decisions.
• Producing detailed engineering drawings, calculations and technical reports.
• Leading project delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Providing expert technical support during installation and construction phases.
• Overseeing quality assurance and compliance with British Standards and Eurocodes.
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to their professional growth.
• Supporting business development, including proposals and client engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree-qualified Structural Engineer with at least 5 years’ post-graduate experience, ideally within renewable or commercial sectors.
• Strong understanding of steel and concrete design, with proven application of British Standards/Eurocodes.
• Proficiency in software such as Dlubal RFEM 6, RWIND, Tekla Tedds and AutoCAD.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
