Electrical Operations Manager

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Operations Manager to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical operations, having progressed through hands-on roles, and experience within an ICP or DNO environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on electrical infrastructure, DNO frameworks, and renewable energy projects, with responsibilities spanning projects up to 400kV. You will lead impactful projects and play a key role in driving the company’s continued success.

Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of electrical projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Coordinate and manage resources, including plant and equipment, to ensure efficient project delivery
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring project requirements are met and expectations exceeded
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain objectives
• Ensure all work is completed in line with company policies and procedures, upholding high standards of quality and safety

Criteria for the Operations Manager:

• Proven experience in electrical operations with a strong hands-on background
• Experience within an ICP or DNO environment
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Deep knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and industry regulations
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on delivery and results
