Fourblue are working with a fully accredited Independent Connection Provider (ICP) that delivers end-to-end multi-utility infrastructure, power, gas, and water for forward-thinking industrial, commercial, and renewable developments. Now, they're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in the I&C market across the UK.

Role Overview:
As a key member of the commercial team, you’ll focus on driving business development across sectors such as:

• Battery storage and renewable energy
• EV charging and low-carbon transport
• Data centres, logistics, and manufacturing
• Waste-to-energy and other strategic infrastructure

Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

• Identify and qualify new opportunities across industrial and commercial utility connections
• Engage with developers, consultants, and investors to shape tailored multi-utility solutions
• Collaborate with internal design, technical, and delivery teams to scope and secure projects
• Track industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to guide growth strategy
• Represent the business at industry events, pre-bid meetings, and strategic forums

Criteria of the Business Development Manager:

• Strong background in B2B sales or business development within utilities, energy, or infrastructure
• Ability to interpret and communicate technical utility proposals with confidence
• Proven experience engaging with stakeholders in I&C, renewables, or clean energy
• Commercially focused and highly collaborative, with a proactive approach to pipeline building
• Knowledge of DNO/IDNO frameworks, ICP operations, or regulated utility connections is a plus
