Role Overview

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical QAQC Lead to oversee quality assurance activities on major engineering projects across Europe. In this role, you will manage electrical QA processes, lead project quality teams, and ensure all work meets client and regulatory standards through proactive inspection, documentation, and team coordination.

The position is based on a 17/4 rotation (17 days on, 4 days off), with travel and accommodation fully covered.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA delivery across projects with a “Right First Time” approach.
• Supervise QA teams including Field QA, Test Pack Engineers, and Commissioning Supervisors.
• Manage and maintain project QA documentation and databases.
• Oversee system and equipment test pack development.
• Conduct quality audits, inspections, and client handover coordination.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and construction teams to meet project milestones.
• Monitor snag trends and ensure timely resolution.
• Support site activities across Ireland and mainland Europe.

Requirements

• Electrical or quality-related qualification required; trade background advantageous.
• 3+ years’ experience in a QAQC leadership role.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; QA software experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English essential.
