Role Overview
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical QAQC Manager to lead quality assurance efforts on large-scale engineering projects across Europe. You will manage the Electrical Quality Management System, ensure project compliance, and drive a culture of quality across construction and commissioning teams.
The position is based on a 17/4 rotation (17 days on, 4 days off), with travel and accommodation fully covered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QAQC delivery through training, audits, and a “Right First Time” approach.
- Manage QA teams including field QA, test pack engineers, and commissioning supervisors.
- Oversee quality documentation, test pack development, and system handover processes.
- Conduct quality reviews, inspections, and site audits.
- Interface with clients, construction teams, and third-party contractors.
- Ensure compliance with project-specific quality plans, standards, and specifications.
- Monitor snag trends and support resolution with construction leads.
- Provide QA support across Ireland and mainland Europe as required.
Requirements - Degree in Electrical Engineering or Quality; trade background advantageous.
- 5+ years’ experience in a QAQC leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and QA software.
- Excellent communication, planning, and team leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project quality management tools.
