About the Role

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join a leading engineering services provider on a major European project. In this role, you’ll be responsible for achieving safety from the system on electrical networks and authorised to prepare, issue, and cancel Safety Documents, perform switching operations, and manage isolations.

The position is based on a 17/4 rotation (17 days on, 4 days off), with travel and accommodation fully covered.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform HV/LV switching and apply isolations per authorisation.
• Prepare, issue, and cancel Safety Documents (e.g. PTWs, LOAs, HV/LV permits).
• Lead switching operations and supervise electrical works.
• Write and review Switching Schedules.
• Coordinate with Control Engineers and Testing Teams.
• Mentor and supervise Authorised and Competent Persons.
• Conduct energisation readiness reviews and audits.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and control documentation.

Requirements

• SAP appointment and significant HV/LV experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards (e.g. EN 50110-1).
• Ability to lead switching, isolations, and energisation activities.
• Recognised electrical qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
