A leading international engineering services provider is seeking an Electrical QAQC Engineer to join its team on a high-profile European project. With a heritage spanning over a century, the company delivers high-quality engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors including mechanical and electrical engineering, fire protection, waste-to-energy, and BIM services. The organisation is known for its commitment to professional development, innovation, and delivering excellence in project execution.

The position is based on a 17/4 rotation (17 days on, 4 days off), with travel and accommodation fully covered.

Role Overview
As an Electrical QAQC Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the electrical systems and installations meet the highest quality standards across project sites in Europe. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for implementing and maintaining the Electrical Quality Management System. The role involves hands-on inspections, documentation management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update project-specific QAQC databases and documentation systems.
• Conduct inspections and walkdowns to ensure compliance with client and project specifications.
• Review benchmarks and first-of-kind installations.
• Compile and verify test packs using project quality management software.
• Liaise with QA leads and construction teams to plan handovers, walkdowns, and snag list development.
• Identify and escalate quality issues or trends.
• Monitor third-party contractors and inspections for compliance.
• Ensure subcontractors adhere to project QA standards.
• Participate in regular site inspections and attend project quality meetings.
• Travel as needed across Ireland and mainland Europe to support site activities.
• Collaborate with internal Electrical QAQC Leads and engineers as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant electrical or quality assurance qualification.
• Electrical trade background is a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar QAQC role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with QA software is an advantage.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
