Multi Utility Project Manager

Fourblue have teamed up with an ICP/IDNO who are now seeking a MU Project Manager to join their rapidly growing and dynamic company in the energy sector. This role will focus on delivering new connections for electricity, water, and gas networks, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery, from pre-contract site surveys to post-completion audits.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- Manage the successful delivery of MU new connection projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
- Supervise and lead project teams, including contractors and sub-contractors, ensuring all on-site work meets safety, quality, and environmental regulations
- Liaise with clients, ensuring clear communication, providing advice, and building long-term relationships based on trust and reliability
- Undertake pre-contract site surveys, providing valuable input to the estimating and design teams to help create project proposals
- Maintain up-to-date project records, ensuring compliance with company processes and standards
- Conduct site audits in accordance with the company’s audit plan
- Support business development efforts, including providing technical expertise and participating in client meetings
- Ensure continuous professional development, attending training to enhance knowledge and skills
- Uphold all company policies and procedures, including health and safety requirements, ensuring a safe working environment for all involved
Criteria for the Project Manager: - A minimum of 5 years of site experience in MU new connections for electrical ICP/water SLP projects
- NRSWA supervisor ticket
- Full UK driving licence
- Authorised to work on distribution networks, with specific experience in WPD and SSE is preferred
- SMSTS certification is desirable but not essential
- In-depth knowledge of the design, maintenance, and construction of plant and apparatus, including control and protection equipment
