HSEQ Manager
North West 
Salary dependent on experience + car/car allowance 

Fourblue have teamed up with a Utility Contractor who are looking for a driven individual to join their team and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

As the HSQE Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of our health, safety, quality, and environmental management systems. You will ensure compliance with legal and industry standards while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility within the workplace.

Responsibilities of the HSEQ Manager:

• Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures related to health, safety, quality, and environmental management
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices
• Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Prepare and facilitate external audits and inspections
• Address and resolve compliance issues or audit findings, implementing necessary corrective actions
• Manage incident reporting and ensure accurate closure of reports related to accidents, environmental incidents, and third-party issues
• Lead the HSQE team, ensuring the team is aligned with company objectives and maintaining high standards of performance.
• Oversee subcontractor onboarding, ensuring compliance with company HSQE policies

Criteria of the HSEQ Manager:

• Proven experience in an HSQE management role or related field
• Strong leadership and team management experience
• Experience with ISO 9001/14001, NEBOSH certification, or equivalent safety qualifications
• Full UK driving licence
• Knowledge of utility training requirements and workplace safety regulations
