Quantity Surveyor – South West
Location: Weston-super-Mare (Jct 21)

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
The Role Seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the St. Georges Bridge Repairs scheme in Weston-super-Mare, a 1.5 to 2-year project split into four work packages, three of which are in the final design stage. Working alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor, this role also offers potential involvement in additional schemes under the Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF) for National Highways.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide commercial support on St. Georges Bridge Repairs and potential SDF projects.
• Work within an established team delivering projects under a six-year framework (just under three years remaining).
• Manage subcontractor procurement, cost forecasting, and valuations under NEC4 Option C & E.
• Ensure contract compliance, cost control, and risk management.
• Assist in financial reporting, change management, and final account resolution.

• Experience in quantity surveying within highways or civil engineering.
• Strong understanding of NEC4 contracts (Option C & E).
• Previous exposure to National Highways projects is beneficial.
