Business Support Officer – Halifax 
£14.82 per hour – paid weekly every Friday! 
Hybrid working available 
Full time hours, Monday to Friday 
  
JDR are supporting with the recruitment of a Business Support Officer for a fantastic employer in Halifax. You’ll be providing support to the Local Authority to ensure it meets statutory obligations. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.  
  
What you’ll be doing - 

• Supporting the processing of incoming assessment requests. 
• Inputting data on the local system and generating task timelines. 
• Recording new requests and statutory deadlines on Excel 
• High quality and consistent business support requiring a good level of ICT skills. 
• Data processing and high accuracy recording using typical ICT programmes and local systems 
• Work as part of the wider business support team and provide peer support with specific workload as required. 

What we’re looking for - 

• GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English & Maths, or previous experience within a business support role 
• Ability to work under pressure to deadlines and organise your own workload 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Able to liaise effectively with a wide range of professionals from various sectors 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Awareness of safeguarding issues 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
