This is a permanent position directly with our client,
 
 
We are looking to recruit  a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator / TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a qualification in sheet metal fabrication and proficiency in TIG welding. 
 
Location: Runcorn WA7
Hours of Work : 38 hours, Monday to Thursday 7am - 5pm.
Salary:  £34,692.00 per annum
Direct Permanent Role
 
Main duties & Responsibilities
 

• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal and mechanical components utilising a variety of hand and power tools. Experience in mechanical and pneumatic systems is advantageous but not required.
• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, Duplex and other metals as required with a proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and TIG Welding
• Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• The role requires manual handling, standing for long periods, lifting and working with heavy materials, so candidates should be comfortable with physical tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with a strong attention to detail and quality.

 
 
Skills / Experience

• Apprentice trained to a minimum of Level 3 in Sheetmetal/welding
•  Previous experience within a Manufacturing environment would be advantageous
• Able to work well and co-operate with others in a team.
• Time management
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
