Hygiene Operative – Food Manufacturing 
Location: Leigh 
Shift: 4 on 4 off, 06:00 – 18:00 
Salary: £27,613.66 per annum

Are you ready to play a key role in maintaining world-class hygiene standards and supporting operational excellence? We’re looking for a dedicated Hygiene Operative to help us protect our people, products, and reputation through exceptional food safety and cleaning performance.

What You’ll Do 

• Deliver and maintain high hygiene and food safety standards across the site. 
• Support and guide the Hygiene Team to achieve shift goals and ensure smooth handovers. 
• Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Engineering to ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and GMP. 
• Carry out deep cleans and equipment hygiene to maintain operational efficiency. 
• Promote environmental sustainability through waste management and recycling initiatives. 
• Contribute to our continuous improvement and “Raise the Bar” culture. 

  
What We’re Looking For 

• Experience in a hygiene or cleaning role within food manufacturing or a similar fast-paced environment. 
• A proactive and hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail. 
• Strong understanding of Food Safety, Health & Safety, and GMP standards. 
• Confident working independently and as part of a team. 
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Positive attitude, reliability, and the motivation to deliver excellence every day.
