Job Type: Temp to Perm
Hourly Rate: £13.93 per hour
Working hours:
AM - 06:00 - 14:00
PM - 14:00 - 22:00
About the role:
JDR are recruiting Counterbalance Drivers for our food manufacturing client based in Gorton, with the opportunity to transfer to their brand-new, state-of-the-art site in Chadderton opening in 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operating counterbalance forklifts in a fast-paced food production environment
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Moving stock across warehouse and production areas
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and food hygiene
What We’re Looking For in a production operative:
• An external, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence
• Previous warehouse or production experience (preferred)
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
