We are looking for a Management Accountant to work for a 3 month contract
 
Pay £19.23 an hour
 
Location: Weston-Super-Mare
 
Immediate start
 
Shift Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm 
 
Temp contract for 3 months 
 
JDR is recruiting for a Management Accountant to work for a well established company in Weston-Super-Mare.
 
The role:
 
As a Management Accountant you will be working within the office and your duties will be as followed:

• Preparing the monthly management accounts and delivering them to key stakeholders within
  the business.
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations, cashflow management and forecasting.
• Oversee and support month end reporting activities and ensure accurate Finance KPI reporting is delivered.
• Variance analysis for forecasting vs budgets.
• Oversee payroll activities are completed accurately and to deadlines.
• Monitor fixed asset/capital expenditures.
• VAT reconciliations and assist with VAT submissions.
• Preparing quarterly and annual financial statements
• Assisting in provision of year-end accounts, forecasting, and annual budget processes.
• Ensure company meets all legal financial requirements and obligation, conducting audits and
  liaising with external advisors.
• Process improvements within the wider finance function, help develop process guides for
  financial activities in support of ISO accreditation
• Supporting the businesses continuous improvement objectives, and business continuity
• Adhoc reporting as required by senior leadership team
• To ensure that all line reports and their teams are inducted and trained appropriately on an
  ongoing basis, appraised and given opportunities to succeed.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to line reports, including undertaking regular 121s.
• Deputise for the Head of Finance or the role's line reports in their absence.
• Carry out any other such reasonable job-related tasks as the Company may require you to
  undertake from time to time

About you: As a Management Accountant you will have the following skills and experience:

• Start immediately and available for a 3 month contract
• You will be able to travel to Weston-Super-Mare
• AAT qualification and/or ACCA/CIMA part qualified or equivalent work-based experience
• Strong technical expertise in finance and accounting
• Advanced knowledge of excel and spreadsheet manipulation
• Knowledge of computer-based accounting systems
• Knowledge and application of financial regulations
• Previous use of Xero
