Maintenance Coordinator

39 hours per week (06:15-15:15 - Monday to Thursday / 06:15-11:15 - Friday)

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and plan all site maintenance activities, including preventive and reactive tasks
• Implement and manage a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – full training provided
• Schedule and prioritise maintenance work orders for in-house technicians in line with system processes
• Support reactive maintenance coordination to minimise operational downtime
• Assist in scheduling out-of-hours works, weekend tasks, and site shutdown planning
• Prepare and distribute maintenance performance reports, including parts usage, contractor delivery, and shutdown outcomes
• Organise and manage contractor visits, including RAMS reviews, site inductions, and permit-to-work processes
• Ensure contractor work is delivered to specification, safely, and in line with service level agreements
• Maintain compliance with statutory regulations and support ISO standards
• Develop and manage service contracts through CMMS for systems such as HVAC, fire protection, and lifts
• Support audit preparation for internal and external reviews.
• Manage stores inventory and raise purchase requisitions for critical spares and consumables.
• Contribute to budget control by negotiating quotes and identifying cost-saving opportunities

• NVQ Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering (Required)
• CMMS system knowledge (manufacturing environment)
• Experience of PPM scheduling and resource planning
• Understanding of H&S policies
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Able to work towards tight / strict deadlines 
• Experience of working closely with sub-contactors
