JDR are looking to recruit an experienced Dispatch Manager to join our client based in Wrexham LL13 on a temporary to permanent basis.

The dispatch manager will be responsible for overseeing the dispatch supervisors and operatives,
Ensuring smooth flow of goods out of the warehouse area
Ensuring company SLA's are met

We are looking for an individual with previous warehouse and managerial experience,


 
Hours of Work
 
Monday to Friday - No weekends
8am until 5pm
 
Salary
 
£15.00 per hour ( during the temporary period)
Increasing to £32,500 per annum once permanent.
 
 
The Role
 

• You will be the primary point of contact for all operational procedures and process.
• To work closely with account managers to resolve any dispatch issues
• Liaising with couriers to ensure dispatch capacity
• Ensuring staffing levels are maintained across all shifts
• Hold weekly team meetings to discuss, performance and health and safety.
• Responsible for the inductions of all new starters
• Lead, motivate and engage with teams
• A Key member of the Senior Management Team, attending Weekly Operational meetings and playing a key role in the ongoing growth, development, and continued success of the business.

 
Skills / Experience

• A strong team player with excellent leadership and communication skills
•  A strong operator with experience of working within a busy, fast-moving 3PL despatch environment.
• ·Comfortable and “well-versed” in producing standard operating procedures and documentation that can be trained out to team members.
• A mindset for process improvement and data-driven, and practical decision making.
• A Reliable, organised individual, committed to a high level of accuracy and performance.
• The ability to lead from the front while developing others to take ownership of standard day-to-day operations.
