Job Title – FLT Counterbalance driver

Contract – Ongoing – Temp to perm
Days - Monday to Friday
Shifts – AM, PM & Nights   
  
JDR Recruitment are actively looking to recruit a FLT Counterbalance driver for a client based in Leicester, LE19. 
  
Our client is a leading local logistics company based in Leicester, offering a comprehensive, one-stop solution for distribution needs. Their services include same-day courier deliveries, overnight parcel and pallet distribution, and full warehousing and storage solutions.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join their busy operations team.
Duties for the experienced FLT (Forklift Truck) Counterbalance Driver will be to operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be the efficient movement and handling of pallets, ensuring smooth flow of goods in and out of the facility.
  
Key Duties Include:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading pallets in a busy warehouse or production setting.
• Ensuring correct placement and stacking of pallets.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Supporting general warehouse operations as required.

  
Requirements:

• Valid certified FLT Counterbalance license.
• Proven experience in a similar fast-paced, high-volume role.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  
Working Pattern:

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Shift Length: Approximately 8 hours per day
• Overtime: Available and paid at an enhanced rate

  
Pay Rates (PAYE Only):

• £13.50 per hour (with accrued holiday)
• £15.12 per hour (holiday pay included)
