We are looking for an experienced transport planner.
This is a direct permanent position with our client. 
 
As a Transport Planner, you'll be responsible for monitoring our 5 pallet track vehicles, planning collections, and collaborating with our team to manage our 5-6 trampers.
With a focus on last-in, first-out allocation, you'll ensure our drivers are deployed effectively, while also handling the day-to-day tasks of booking jobs and seeking additional loads.
 
Transport Planner:
 

• Competitive Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
• Flexible Shifts: Choose between a fixed 7:30 am to 4:30 pm or 11 am to 8 pm shift, or opt for a rotating schedule
• Immediate Start: No notice period required
• Location: This role is based in Worsley, 

 
 
Requirements:

• Extensive experience in a transport planning role, with a understanding of the industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with drivers, clients, and the wider team
• Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges and find creative solutions
• Proficiency in using a computer
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Qualifications:

• Relevant transport or logistics-related qualifications or certifications
• Proven track record of success in a similar transport planning role
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
