Depot Assistant / Driver

Salary:
£27,500 per annum

Location:
Irlam, Manchester

Hours:
07:30am - 17:00pm (Monday to Friday) 

Are you a candidate who has experience of working in a support role within a depot / warehouse environment? Do you have a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points and also over the age of 25? JDR Recruitment are currently supporting one of our key clients in Manchester and this could be the perfect opportunity for you.


Job Responsibilities:

• Delivery of orders to a range of customers
• Ensure accurate and timely shipping of orders.
• Pack orders in the shipping department according to the customer’s order specifications.
• Print labels for customer shipments.
• Assist with picking and packing of customer shipments.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of warehouse, including but not limited to, sorting, palletizing and organization of incoming materials.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 penalty points
• Knowledge of basic computer skills such as word processing, email, spreadsheets, etc.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment depending on the needs of the business and individual departments.
• Ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a cold environment (outdoors), with limited exposure to outside elements (such as heat, rain, snow, or extreme temperatures).
• Must be able to lift up to 25kg, stand for extended periods of time, bend, kneel, twist or crouch as needed while carrying packages up to 25kg
