Our established client on the outskirts of Barnstaple is seeking a talented and driven Production Team Leader to join their dynamic team on a temporary to permanent basis. Due to location there is no public transport so you will need own transport

Hours: To begin with will be working days 7am-7pm and then once trained to the standard the company needs this role will be then full time on nights Monday - Thursday 7pm-7am.

You'll have the opportunity to play a crucial part in managing assisting with the production facility and ensuring they meet their customers' high-quality standards. Highlights of the Role:

Collaborate with the Production Manager to oversee and optimise their production operations
Ensure the efficient and effective running of their production facility, from raw material usage to environmental impact
Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Agree the finished product specification in accordance with customer requirements and plant capabilities
Achieve the finished product quality and yield, including investigating any issues that may arise
Ensure the plant runs efficiently, managing engineering and maintenance activities to maintain reliability
Implement company policies regarding Health & Safety (COSHH, HACCP) and Hygiene across the site
Assist with the recruitment and development of the production team

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience in a similar production team leader or supervisory role
Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with all departments
