Infrastructure Project Manager
Reporting to: Head of Operations
Location: Reading
Salary: £55K - £60K (DOE) + benefits

Role Purpose
We are seeking a proven Project Manager to lead both the delivery of complex IT infrastructure projects and the development of a small, high-performing project team. This role combines hands-on project delivery with genuine people management — including pastoral management, coaching, and building team capability.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop the Project Services team, fostering a high-performance, customer-first culture.
• Oversee portfolio planning, resource allocation, and delivery standards.
• Deliver customer-facing infrastructure and service transition projects, ensuring scope, budget, and quality targets are met.
• Act as the primary customer contact, leading meetings, reviews, and communications.
• Drive improvements in project governance, processes, and reporting.

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in senior project management roles, with responsibility for both delivery and line management of teams.
• Strong background in IT infrastructure, outsourcing, hardware deployment, or service transition projects.
• Experience leading customer-facing projects with budgets up to £1M+.
• Skilled in mentoring and developing people, not just coordinating project teams.
• Prince2/PMI (ITIL Foundation desirable) with excellent communication, leadership, and commercial skills.
