Join our dynamic team at GI Operations as an Engineering Geologist! In this permanent role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, working alongside our dedicated professionals to deliver exceptional ground investigation services. As an Engineering Geologist, you'll be responsible for logging soil and rock, performing in-situ testing and sampling, and assisting with the planning and supervision of ground investigation projects.

Thrive in this role with:

• A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to your work
• The confidence to work independently and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
• A background in geotechnical engineering and knowledge of ground investigation techniques and BS5930:2015

Preferred Requirements:

• Expertise in geologist, site investigation, sampling, testing, logging, and ground investigation techniques
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying the guidelines set forth in BS5930:2015
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and team members
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to tackle complex ground investigation challenges
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

• A degree-level qualification in a geotechnical discipline
• A full UK driving licence to facilitate site visits and project coordination
• A passion for the engineering and geotechnical industry, with a desire to continuously learn and grow
