Join our dynamic team at GI Operations as an Engineering Geologist! In this permanent role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, working alongside our dedicated professionals to deliver exceptional ground investigation services. As an Engineering Geologist, you'll be responsible for logging soil and rock, performing in-situ testing and sampling, and assisting with the planning and supervision of ground investigation projects.

A background in geotechnical engineering and knowledge of ground investigation techniques and BS5930:2015

Preferred Requirements:

Expertise in geologist, site investigation, sampling, testing, logging, and ground investigation techniques
Proficiency in interpreting and applying the guidelines set forth in BS5930:2015
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and team members
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to tackle complex ground investigation challenges
A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

A degree-level qualification in a geotechnical discipline
A full UK driving licence to facilitate site visits and project coordination
A passion for the engineering and geotechnical industry, with a desire to continuously learn and grow
