The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer with 2+ years' experience to join a growing consultancy team. This role offers hands-on exposure to both office-based technical work and site-based activities, providing a strong platform for career development within the geo-environmental and contaminated land sector.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior consultants and project managers, contributing to a wide range of projects while developing technical, project management and client-facing skills.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Supporting ground investigations, including logging, sampling and site supervision
• Assisting with the preparation of factual and interpretive reports in line with UK guidance and standards
• Contributing to contaminated land risk assessments and remedial strategy development
• Supporting the delivery and verification of remediation works
• Ensuring all work is undertaken in accordance with health and safety requirements
• Liaising with internal teams, contractors and clients under guidance from senior staff
• Supporting project delivery through data management, reporting and site coordination

Requirements

• Degree qualified in a relevant science-based discipline
• 2+ years' experience in geo-environmental or contaminated land consultancy
• Understanding of geo-environmental engineering principles, ground investigations and reporting
• Awareness of UK standards and regulatory compliance
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work proactively and with increasing independence
• High awareness of health and safety in the workplace
• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
