Preferred Requirements:

Expertise in geology, phase 1 and 2 site investigations, report writing, remediation, earthwork design, and foundation design
Experience with borehole investigations and the ability to supervise construction works, including inspecting foundations and drilling/grouting of mine workings
Proficiency in preparing coal mining risk assessments, earthworks strategies, and verification reports
Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, regulators, and site staff
Ability to advise on geotechnical parameters for foundation design and slope stability

Preferred Qualifications:

A strong Degree or Masters in Geology, Geography, or Civil Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the geotechnical/geo-environmental field
Working towards professional development with the Geological Society, Institution of Civil Engineers, or a similar professional body
