Metro is seeking a Non-Executive Director to contribute to the organisation’s strategic direction, effective governance and long-term sustainability, as it continues to play a critical role in supporting Tasmania’s growth, connectivity and liveability.
The successful candidate will bring Board or senior-level experience and the ability to make an effective contribution at Board level. They will have significant public transport experience, ideally with some depth in infrastructure and asset delivery and renewal, the transition to zero-emission technologies, and network planning. In addition to this, experience in technology, including digital transformation, cyber security, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, would also be valued. Commercial experience, particularly in procurement and contracting, is also preferred.
