The Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania Limited (RACT) has been a part of the Tasmanian community for over 100 years. We offer a range of motoring, home and lifestyle services and products including home, contents and vehicle insurance, roadside assistance and driver education to more than 200,000 members, with the aim to be a shoulder to lean on and a voice when it matters. RACT’s goal is to have a valued relationship with every Tasmanian.
An exciting opportunity to join a progressive Board leading and overseeing the organisation’s transformational growth journey is now open to suitable candidates.
To successfully receive the Board’s recommendation, candidates will need to demonstrate that they would bring breadth to the Board’s expertise with skills and experience in any of the following areas: insurance and/or technology transformation/e-commerce.
These positions will suit experienced directors or executives with outstanding leadership and communication skills.
In addition to the core skills outlined above, exposure to mutual organisations, and/or an accounting background would be viewed favourably, with a preference for Tasmanian based candidates or those with strong connections to Tasmania. If you can bring further diversity of background, experience, and thought to the Board, then we would love to hear from you.
This opportunity is in line with scheduled re-election/re-appointment processes with three incumbent Non-Executive Directors required to nominate for the RACT Group and RACT Insurance Boards due to current terms expiring at the AGM later this year.
