Operating as a Government Business Enterprise, the organisation has branches located in Hobart, Launceston and Devonport. A Non-Executive Director position is available on the Public Trustee Board. A key focus for the Board will be to meet community expectations of the Public Trustee in respect to delivery of services and customer experiences that provide best achievable outcomes for all clients. The role for the Board is to ensure organisation provides its services with empathy, dignity and respect.
The successful applicant will bring demonstrated experience in investment management, ideally supported by exposure to a trustee company environment or trustee management. Strategic, forward-looking leadership, excellent relationship building skills, and an understanding of the Tasmanian community and economic environment are also required.
