The engineering workshop in Moranbah offers a range of experience in the mining industry as well as on the road.  Our technicians can not only service and repair your 4wheeled drive, repair a crack on a heavy road vehicle but will also rebuild underground diesel engine systems and provide mine site compliance inspections.
 
The PIMS Group Engineering Workshop provide over 100 years’ experience from our team of diesel fitters, boilers makers and motor mechanics!

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate
• Valid driver’s license
• Previous experience working on mobile plant and equipment essential
• Underground Coal diesel mobile equipment (preferred)
• Construction or truck / road transport (required)
• DES (preferred, not required)
• Brake Testing (preferred, not required)
• EWP (preferred, not required)
• Dogging/Rigging (preferred, not required)
• In-depth knowledge of various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems;
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently;
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work;
• Flexible, positive work ethic with the ability to work extra hours
